konstanze + chris

August 26, 2023

The heat of peak summer is beginning to fade away, as the world prepares for the quiet of autumn. Flowers are abundant this time of year, overflowing from our gardens, filling our homes with color and life. From warm, bright afternoons, to cool, dusky evenings - August is the bridge between two seasons.

Seasonal flowers -

dahlias, didiscus, nightshades, lisianthus, jasmine, phlox, zinnias, pistachio, wild pea.

SEASON

Late summer

a story told in…

dusk light, forest moss, dappled shadow, lilac wine.

dahlias, garden roses, clematis, didiscus, jasmine, nightshades

konstanze’s bouquet was the perfect blend of elegant & wild - featuring the garden’s most intricate & delicate blooms.

the bridal party held petite clutches of limonium, didiscus, and larkspur - a small ethereal cloud for each of them.

K+C’s ceremony was a lush gardenscape, made up of a full & wild arch, with ground gardens lining the aisle. these pieces echoed the natural environment, with lilac shades lacing throughout to complete the ethereal look that’s present throughout the wedding.

ceremony in the redwoods

trailing vines, lacy blooms, and romantic shades - K+C’s tables were filled with an armful of the garden’s best. bathed in dappled candlelight, their guests dined alongside dahlias, nightshades, garden roses, and overflowing tomato vine - all gathered from our garden and other local farms.

an evening in the forest

an artistic take on the traditional garden style, these pieces were inspired by classic English cottage gardens.
